Lake Manatee Jan. 15th 2012

 Lake Manatee bass fishing and a cold front don't mix too well. The fishing was tough but Anna and Paul managed to take 1st place with 3 fish at 7.26 pounds. George and Randy took 2nd with 5.96.

Shell Creek Dec 18th 2011

The fishing at Shell Creek yielded some good fish and Randy and George win for the 4th one straight at 12.81 pounds. Dan and Tabby came in a close 2nd place at 12.02. Congrats!

Lake Manatee Nov 20th 2011

R and G Do It Again

The Braden River at Jiggs Landing yielded quite a few fish. Jeff and Bryan weighed in a nice bass close to 7 pounds for Big Bass Honors. Randy and George have become unstoppable and weighed in 14.42 pounds for 1st place for their 3rd tournament in a row as champs!

Next tournament in December out of Shell Creek.

Lake Manatee Oct. 16th 2011

Randy and George Win Again on Lake Manatee

Lake Manatee was a little breezy and fish were hard to locate in the white caps. Randy and George found 'em for the 2nd month in a row with a weight of 13.1 pounds. Bill and Tony came in 2nd with 12.26 and Tom and Penny 3rd with 8.37 pounds. Way to go!

Shell Creek Sept. 18th 2011

Randy and George are in the Money at 14.59 pounds plus Big Bass on Shell Creek Sept. 2011

Hot day in Punta Gorda on Shell Creek and some very slow fishing. Only 4 boats caught fish with 3 of the boats with only one fish. Randy and George were on the pattern and brought in an impressive sack! Congrats!!!!

Next month we are at Lake Manatee in the State Park!

Classic: June 24th, 2012 Lake TBD

Summary of the rules is as follows:

1- Kick Off: Safelight

2- Weigh In: 2 PM- No Late Check ins

3- Membership Fee: $25 per angler

4- Entry Fee: $50 per team, Optional $10 Lunker per team

5- Payback: 80%, 5% to Classic, 75% paid at the tournament- 1 place paid for every 5 entrees. Example: 9 boats- 1st place, 10 boats to 14 boats- 1st and 2nd place, 15-19 boats- 1st, 2nd and 3rd, etc.

6- 2 anglers per boat max.

7- 5 bass per team 14" minimum

8- Disqualification of team for any short fish

9- 1/4 lb penalty per dead fish

10- All state and local regulations apply

11- Sponsors and tournaments officials are not responsible for theft, damage, or injury to persons or property during these tournaments.

12- New for 2011/2012 season- Members must be a resident of Sarasota or Manatee County unless exempted by the Tournaments Directors.

Lake Manatee May 2011

George and Randy Winners with 15.3 Pounds at Lake Manatee May 2011

Started the day overcast with a cool front moving through. George and Randy brought in a nice sack for the win. Randy and Shane came in 2nd with 15 and change and big bass at 6.53 pounds. Congrats to all!

Next month our Classic will be the 4th Sunday i.e. June 26, 2011. Penny will call everyone who has qualified to announce the secret location of the pretournament meeting.

Jiggs Landing Braden River April 2011

Beautiful weather but some tough fishing on the Braden River. Fishing seemed to get better in the later hours of the tournament. Congrats to Jamie and Mike for the win at 12.15 pounds. 2nd place went to Randy and Shane with 11.83 and big fish at 7.25 pounds.

Another great Florida day as Mr. B's fished Shell Creek in Punta Gorda on March 20, 2011. Winners Bing and Wayne 24 plus pounds, WOW!! Randy and George took 2nd with 14.84. Huge weigh in on a relatively unknown spot, nice!

Lake Manatee Feb. 2011- Weather was great and some very nice weigh ins. Dave and Mark took 1st with over 20 pounds. Jeff and Brian came in 2nd with an 18 plus bag.
