HI, I just have a question regarding rubber worms. I live in central Michigan and have done a little fishing in my day, but most of it entails fishing for Walleye, Perch, and some Big fish on the Great Lakes. My question for you, what do you recommend to use for rubber worms (Bass fishing)? I have been using my standard Walleye tackle, which mostly consists of 1/4 ounce jig heads and twister tails. I have been quite successful catching Bass with this setup, but would like to try rubber worms, thinking maybe it would produce larger fish. Please be specific to colors, hook, and sinker types. Thanks in advance, and by the way Happy belated 54th Birthday!

Markus,

Where in Michigan do you live, Kawkalin? Thanks for the bday greeting. Try the Junebug trickworm from Zoom using 1/8 to 1/4 ounce bullet weight and cast shoreline bulrush or underwater weedlines. Let me know if you need anything else.
